Claus Andersson is a seasoned life sciences investor with extensive experience in oncology, cardiology, and nucleotide modalities. As a founding member of the Sunstone team, Claus has played a key role in fostering connections with life science hubs and start-ups. Over his 17-year career, he has supported more than 19 companies, serving as a board member or chair to help drive innovation and strategic growth. His expertise spans strategy execution and technology development across the life science ecosystem – including roles as an entrepreneur, venture capitalist, scientist, and corporate manager.
Claus holds a master’s degree in Civil Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and a PhD in Mathematical Statistics from the University of Copenhagen and the Humboldt University in Berlin.
