Erik van den Berg has over 25 years of experience in the biotechnology sector. He is currently the CEO of Memo Therapeutics AG and previously served as CEO of AM-Pharma from 2011 to 2023. He is the Chairman of TargED and Step Pharma, and co-founder and former executive Chairman of Lava Therapeutics and Heatmatrix Group. He has executed over 20 significant transactions, including major partnerships with Pfizer and Kyowa Kirin, and raised around €500M for biotech companies. Erik holds a master’s degree in chemistry from the University of Utrecht and an MBA from Manchester Business School.
